What is Lumecca IPL?

Lumecca IPL is a powerful intense pulsed light procedure that targets:

• sun damage
• brown spots
• red spots
• telangiectasias (broken capillaries)
• redness / rosacea

What should I expect during and after my treatment(s)?

The sensation of IPL feels like the flick of a rubber band plus heat. Warmth (not a burning sensation) and tightness should be expected. You will leave the office with some redness to your face, as well as pigmentation looking darker. Be sure to stay on top of your sunscreen for 2 weeks. You will look "chocolate chippy" for 7-10 days. The darkened pigmentation will slough off within 2 weeks, leaving you with brightened, more even skin!
